As our best-selling books, The Fungus Link series,
goes into its 2nd edition, I find myself reviewing the
chapters once again. Although the FL1 book is going
on 8 years old, it amazed me at how timeless these
books really are!

Can you imagine being so bold in 1999 as to implicate
fungus as the cause of cancer or depression? Yet
imagine we did and so many have been helped because
they had no idea that fungus could do that! They
trusted us and the information within the books made
sense. As it was 8 years ago, and remains today, our
physicians clearly do not understand the fungus link
to symptoms and diseases that we Americans suffer
from. Change takes a long time in medicine, but as Drs
Dean and Jennings confirm in this newsletter, “the
times, they are a changing!”

Dr. Carolyn Dean holds both a Medical Doctor (MD)
degree as well as a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) degree.
Although she is undoubtedly proud of both, I’ve got to
believe that her ND degree has enabled her to help
more patients than her MD degree ever will. That is
because Dr. Dean knows the importance of diet in
preventing disease. She also understands that
patients demand more dietary knowledge and fewer
chemicals from their scheduled medical office visits,
and with her dual credentials, she stands prepared to
listen and assist. Both she and Dr. Jennings also
understand the role of germs in their patient’s
symptoms and diseases, especially fungal germs and the
poisons that those fungi can produce.

I’ve requested that Dr. Jennings update you monthly
with case histories; real patients with real problems,
and one thing will probably become quickly evident to
you as you read her information. Her approach is
different from the approach taken by other physicians.
I thought you’d like to see that there are doctors
who don’t immediately reach for a 4X4 pad from their
front pockets when they hear symptoms. Today’s
patients seem to be screaming, STOP WRITING, LOOK AT
ME AND LISTEN! Good for you.

Kyle Drew, my wonderful friend and associate, opens
each newsletter with what can only be referred to as
“pearls” each month. His pharmaceutical sales
background provided the impetus he needed to see that
disease was not some inevitable genetic flaw, and
therefore your parents' fault, rather that many of us
are digging our own graves with our forks and spoons.
Kyle did the math and a 3X9X6 foot hole takes about a
decade to dig with eating utensils. His wise counsel
teaches us to take that decade and those exact eating
utensils and nurture and restore your health instead
of injuring your back and knuckles by digging all day.

Mark Russo, a culinary school graduate, and my trusty
assistant, used to cook on The Delta Queen Steamboat as
it traveled the Mississippi and Ohio waterways. When
he saw what I was willing to pay, he maintained his
$12,000 job on the waterways, until one day I offered
him the honored position of staff writer for KNOW
THIS, our popular newsletter. Seriously, Mark has
cooked for our entire staff and he seems to take
boring recipes and turn them into olfactory and taste
receptor candy (OK, carrot). Mark will offer these
“upgraded” recipes for your review and trial each
month.

But without Eric and Evan, our computer and graphic
geniuses, respectively, all would be for naught.
Their work to bring you this newsletter seems unending
and we love them for their efforts.

May I just request two small favors from you before I end this newsletter? First, may you find true happiness and joy during this holiday season, and second, would you please take a moment and send this newsletter to someone you know who is hurting and doesn’t know why? At Know The Cause, we believe in Guardian Angels!
