Everybody has some sort of way they start their day. Some of may wake up, pray, exercise, read the news, and eat a Phase One breakfast. Others may start their day with a cupcake, soda, and Sports Center. The way you finish your day has a lot to do with how you start it!
Some say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, which is half-true. All of your meals are important. If you eat junk food in the morning, you will feel like junk the rest of the day.
Keep your breakfast simple and easy. Make sure it is a lighter meal. Also, try to rotate your foods so you don’t get bored. One great idea is, if you eat a Phase One dinner, you can have any leftovers for a Phase One breakfast. Keep it simple and your body will thank you at the end of the day.
Here is the recipe of the month.
3-egg Chicken Florentine Omelet
3 eggs
½ cup grilled-cooked chicken
spinach
2 tablespoons tomatoes
1 teaspoon garlic
1 dash basil
1 tablespoon olive oil
Beat eggs. Heat sauté pan. Add olive oil. When hot turn heat to medium, sauté chicken and add spinach, tomatoes, and garlic. When spinach is wilted, add egg and basil. Cook, then fold side, and then fold omelet.
