This pomegranate and blueberry smoothie packs a punch! Not only is loaded with antioxidants to wake you up, but it tastes GREAT. This is soooo simple to make and it is easy to combine different fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Yes, I said fruits and vegetables! Give it a try and feel refreshed.
Pomegranate and Blueberry Smoothie
1-cup fresh or frozen organic blueberries
½ cup organic pure pomegranate juice
½ cup almond milk unsweetened
Place all ingredients in blender, blend on high speed until smooth. (About 2 minutes)
Pour and serve
Makes about 2 servings.
Tips:
If you want a more chilled drink, use frozen blueberries, and if you want your smoothie a little creamier, try adding a ¼ cup organic plain Greek yogurt.
Ideas:
If you need to sweeten it, try adding stevia to taste.
Try combining vegetables like kale, broccoli, or spinach to different juice combinations. (Make sure they are pure organic juices, no sugar!) Examples like carrot juice with garlic and green apple, tomato juice with spinach, and raspberry juice and blackberries combined with kale. Just imagine all the fun you can have on phase 2!
