This month is my 3rd anniversary of my own "I'm going to do this 'phase 1 diet' for a month and see what happens". At the end of the month I felt great physically as well as mentally. I have since made the anti-fungal diet my way of eating. I slip occasionally, and in the past told myself it was a 'treat', and 'a little bit won't hurt', then go back to the way I usually eat. I slipped intentionally over the holidays and physically felt bad and couldn't wait to get back to the anti-fungal way of eating. I am just now starting to feel and be the way I'm use to.

I may still have a hamburger on a bun at a cookout in the future, but as far as eating as the Romans do (when in Rome) for a week and a half, that's probably not going to happen again! I know better, and I Know The Cause!

My husband and I are taking the Phase one challenge for this month...we had a couple of slip ups because I wasn't aware that raisins and organic brown rice were not part of phase one of the diet, once we found out we stop eating them. (thanks Doug and Kristin for all the continually advice and encouragement) We are dedicated to stay on track. As a women who use to always be sick and doctors could not help phase one of the anti fungal diet is by far the correct "medicine" for me. I feel so much better already!

Congratulations John on making Phase 1 a lifestyle, that is so inspiring for us all! You have learned the secret... to make it a lifestyle you have to keep it in balance and perfection is NOT the goal! I think it is an integral step in the process to test how different foods effect you, over the holidays you saw how it made you feel, this now keeps you motivated to continue on with Phase 1.

Thanks for sharing!

Brittany, thanks for taking the challenge! So thrilled you are feeling better! How are you doing?

Thanks B for your sweet comment... we have a blast and are honored to be a part of spreading this knowledge.

Love & blessings,
Kristin Kons

I'd like to try the Phase 1 diet. I have suffered with horrible dryness and acne on my face for 10 years now. Is this diet safe to do while breastfeeding? I'm nursing my six month old son who is suffering from eczema on his entire body as well as red puffy eyes. His pediatrician just wants me to use hydrocortisone cream all of the time. I was also wondering what supplements to get started on to help kill the fungus. I'm already taking a probiotic. Thank you for your help.

I have been doing the Phase 1 diet for 2 weeks and have thankfully noticed a significant improvement in the fungus that I have had on my feet for about 3 years. However, I have also had nausea, chills, fever, skin breaking out in other parts of the body, loss of appetite, as well as blood in the urine. From reading THE FUNGUS LINK it is obvious that many of the above symptoms are related to the fungus, but is the blood in the urine also linked to the improvement in the fungus?

Iv'e been on the phase 1 diet for 4 months now.. except occasional brown rice flour stuff. I went to holistic dr after feeling like I was dying because regular drs couldn't figure out why.. they did a blood test and I had some food sensitivities and mold/fungus in my blood that was off the charts. I also took a 21 day round of diflucan. I feel a tiny bit better but still having all kinds of issues. Still dizzy/lightheaded and inflammation. I hope staying on the diet for a prolonged period of time will help!
