Why are Green Apples on phase 1 and Red Apples not?

Malic acid is a natural antifungal and is found in apple cider vinegar.  Long before the young girl in the link below was born, I hypothesized that the tartness of green apples meant that their malic acid content would be much higher than the malic acid in sweet red apples.

To Our Loyal Viewers

We at Know The Cause ask for your thoughts and prayers for those affected by the devastating tornados in Oklahoma and elsewhere on May 20th, We lecture in this area often and have made so many wonderful friends. Our good friends, Kyle, Kaylin and Carson Drew, who live in this area, are all fine, but have fled the area due to lack of fresh water after the water treatment plant was impacted by the tornado.  Our hearts are broken, but we know that these are people with incredible faith and strength.
